I’m a journalist, former TV news anchor/reporter/producer and newsroom manager.
More importantly, I am a curious world traveler always seeking new adventures. I go to the other side of the world for less than many U.S. residents spend to go to Disney. I’ve paid for my own journeys on a journalist’s salary. Despite the perceived “glamour” of being on-the-air every evening, local TV news does not pay as generously as many believe.
